I thought perhaps people might be interested. FYI, Therese Honey, one of
the featured harpists used to be active in the SCA as Mistress Sabia Hunang
before her music career became too demanding. She's an excellent harpist
and the Early Music group is quite good.

"The Play of Daniel".
5:00 PM - an interview with Danny Johnson and Chris LeCluyse
on "Arts Around Austin".
8:00 PM - "Ancient Voices" with Sara Hessel. Sara will play
excerpts from the New York Ensemble for Early Music
production of The Play of Daniel.

The Play of Daniel is one of the most popular of the medieval mystery
plays from the 12th century. It will be performed with full staging, a
small medieval orchestra (with guests Kit Robberson and Therese

Full of pagentry, drama, and exquisite music, the Texas Early Music
Project's Austin debut of "The Play of Daniel" will offer a wonderful
evening's entertainment in celebration of the Christmas season.
This year we are offering a shortened afternoon performance with
special ticket pricing for families and children. A single $15 ticket
will admit a family group of two or more.
We strongly recommend the 8pm performance for adults and those wishing
to enjoy the full version (about 90 minutes).
2pm: $15 for families of two or more; $10 individual tickets
8pm: $15 general admission; $12 students and seniors
