What a wonderful idea! This is truly in the spirit of Yule, giving and helping our neighbors!
Maybe I will be able to pay the taxes to release my Lands near the Lake of Georgetown I am told the plum orchards and rice fields have fallen into disarray since my absense caused by my return home for matters of finance and war in Nihon. <listed as unknown owner since I missed the last two Yules due to inability to attend because of health issues and increased hours at work> I hope I will be able to attend this year!!! <dad hasn't been well and I have to work more to make up hours I spent in Florida with him and to set up hospice care, so I am playing things by ear at the moment> Be well, be safe! Dewa mata! This is an opportunity for our Society to do something noble for those who are less fortunate in our area. Here is a list of acceptable food items:Baby Food & CerealCanned FruitsCanned MeatsCanned StewsCanned TunaCanned VegetablesJellyPasta SaucesPeanut ButterRice & BeansPlease bring only what you are comfortable with donating. Those with more lands may decide to bring a little more, or you may decide that you've had a poor harvest this year, and cannot bring much. All I ask is that you do what feels best for you.The Land Court has given us enjoyable persona play in the past, and it can continue to do so. It has also been a way of donating items to be used as largesse. These items are still needed, however I would prefer to receive them as gifts rather than taxes. Several people have already been giving generously - and I am grateful to everyone who donated prizes for our recent event. I would also like to thank Lady Deirdre for all of her recent gifts, and Ingrid Conradsdaughter for her gift.Thomas
