In case people haven't heard, Yule Revel is *this* Saturday, December 6,
out at Buescher State Park. It will start at 2:00. We do have the hall
overnight, but the scheduled activities end at 10:00pm. People who wish to
stay overnight need to bring bedding because the floor is concrete and plan
on leaving no later than 11:00am.

There is dancing, caroling, gift exchanges, and games planned. If you have
a favorite period game, please bring it out and share.

The tentative schedule is:

2:00 -Doors open, decorating begins
3:00-7:00 Land Court
4:00 Children's gift exchange
7:00 Adult's gift exchange
5:00-10:00 Dancing

Food will be out all day. Please bring a dish to share.

If you need any more information, you can e-mail me at ***@pug.net or
go to http://bryn-gwlad.ansteorra.org/yule03/

I'll see you out there!

And just to add to the excitement, Ffynnon Gath is holding *their* Yule
Revel at Bastrop State park (about 12 miles down the road) this Saturday as
well...

So make sure you're in the right park for the right revel. <G>

Good thing there is a 12 mile seperation. I don't think we usually put out SCA event signs that far. The signs usually just say "SCA" with an arrow. You could conceivably come across a sign pointing the way you were going and then another pointing the opposite direction. Or simply follow the wrong signs to the wrong event or at least not to the event you were trying to get to.

It's probably too late now, but adding a "B.G."for Bryn Gwlad or a "F.G." for Ffynnon Gath, even if as an additional taped on piece of posterboard to each set of signs might have been a good idea.

right Myfanwy?
Assuming they have signs up off of Hwy 71, then yes, you should take the
2nd set of signs. If not, take the signs that are near Smithville!
